What is International science olympiad (ISO)?

International Science Olympiad (ISO) exam is a global Olympiad competition where students from different schools across countries can take part. It gives budding talent a platform to test their skill sets. Such exams make students ready for national as well as international competitions. Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) conducts International Science Olympiad (ISO) which is one of the best & most proficient Olympiads which nurtures the aspiring talent. The Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) team conducting International Science Olympiad (ISO) consists of professionals from various science fields who understand the exact requirement of students. The test questions are based on applied science. It uplifts existing knowledge of students on different topics of physics, chemistry and biology. This exam has two levels.

Can I Appear for ISO?

Interested students can participate in Indian Talent Olympiad from their respective schools Only (all boards). Students from class 1 – 10 can participate in all subjects for Olympiad exams. There are no other eligibility criteria.

Newly introduced Kindergarten exams for LGK/ UKG i.e. Jr. Kg & Sr.kg for Drawing and Handwriting subjects. Now the students studying from kindergarten to class 10 are eligible to participate in Olympiad examinations.

Where can I find previous years’ papers?

Previous Year Question Papers for Science Olympiad help students practice well and manage their time well as well as accuracy for the exam. In order to be able to tackle the challenge, students will have to take the help of previous year Question Papers. By referring previous year question papers help students do this by providing them the necessary information about syllabus and topics covered in the exam. Students will be able to understand this on the basis of previous year question papers for International Science Olympiad (ISO) exams. Students familiar with question format and nature will take less time to answer the same during the actual exam. Based on the topics that are common in last few years question papers, students will be able to predict the trending topics that will be covered in the examination.

How To Prepare For Indian Talent Olympiad Examination:

Indian Talent Olympiad conducts 8 Olympiad examinations at national level for class 1st to class 10th in schools across India. A separate exam is conducted for each and every subject for every class based on their respective syllabus. Every Indian Talent Olympiad examination will be conducted in English only. Follow the guidelines for preparation of Indian Talent Olympiad examinations.

  1. Understand the syllabus & pattern of every Indian Talent Olympiad examinations:

    For class 1st to class 4th, question paper comprises of 35 questions for total 50 marks & for class 5th to class 10th question paper comprises of 50 questions for total 50 marks & it is divided into two sections. Section 1 comprises of questions based on their respective academic fundamentals & section 2 comprises of questions based on logical reasoning, problem solving & analytical skills.

  2. Understand the difficulty level of Indian Talent Olympiad examinations:

    Difficulty & complexity level of questions will be varying, it depends on the class. For each class exams and question papers prepared by understanding their knowledge, ability reasoning capacity. There will be testing of concepts and basic fundamentals of each & every students through every Indian Talent Olympiad examination. The question paper will also include logical reasoning and problem-solving question which will not be in direct question, students analytical & reasoning skills will be tested through these questions.

  3. Know the relevant books:

    Students need to prepare from their course book suggested by their respective school board (ICSE/ CBSE/ State boards). In addition to this, students can refer & order Indian Talent Olympiad’s workbook, Olympiad study app offered from Indian Talent Olympiad, Previous year question papers & Sample papers for every Olympiad examination. Indian Talent Olympiad also provides reasoning books for every class, so that students can prepare reasoning & logical section.

  4. Practice sample papers:

    Students can avail previous year question papers and sample papers from Indian Talent Olympiad’s official website. Solving sample papers and previous year question paper will give fair idea about the difficulty level & pattern of question papers.
